Recalls are in effect for the following car companies Subaru, Toyota, and Nissan.
Subaru: Impreza, Outback, Legacy Brake Master Cylinder recall.
Year Models: 2012
The issue with these models is that they have Brake Master Cylinder Units, and if they break or malfunction, the time it takes to slow down or stop is greatly increased.
Number of Vehicles recalled: about 32,000
Toyota: Corolla, sienna aftermarket equipment recall.
Year Models: 2010-2011
These problems are from aftermarket bluetooth and navigation systems that have not been installed correctly. Durring installation the trim panel retention clips might have been damaged, causing the dash and trim to become loose. The problem here is if the car is in an acciedent, then parts of the dashboard can come loose and injure the driver or passengers.
Number of vehicles recalled: between 500-600
Nissan: Rogue power steering unit recall.
Year Models: 2011
The EPS or Electic Power Steering Control Units were installed incorrectly from the factory. This puts stress on the solder of the electronics which will eventually cause the electronics to fail.
Number of vehicles recalled: around 7400
